I had just about the same experience as the previous reviewer. Engineer came out, took measurements (didn't write them down, but said he had a good memory) and then left. Said he would have the drawings to us in 2 weeks. After about 3 weeks and no contact from him I called and called and called. Could not reach him. Finally I got in touch and he said he had some personal issues and that he would be a few more days. I'm totally fine if the the project needs more time for personal issues, but that needs to be communicated to your client so they understand. After another week I called and emailed numerous times again. Still no sign of any drawings and could not contact him. Finally got a hold of him one night and he said the drawings were done and he would send them to me (if they were done, why wouldn't he have sent them already). After about an hour I decided to cut my losses and just not accept any work from him. All in all it was just over 5 weeks of waiting and never saw anything. Glad I didn't pay any money up front. I HIGHLY recommend against hiring this company. Message me and I can give you the contact of another engineer I used that produced work in 3 days (over the weekend).

We had the exact same experience as the other two reviews. Not on time for meeting, never came to site, price 100% more expensive, told 7-10 days for plans, didn't respond to emails or calls. Never heard from him. His office looked like a bomb went off. Wouldn't recommend this guy at all. Don't waste your time this will put your project behind.
My realtor booked Brian to do a foundation inspection on a house as a structural engineer specializing in Permanent Wood Foundations. I called him four times beforehand to discuss what sort of testing and process he would be using for the inspection but was never able to reach him and was never contacted back despite leaving voicemails. Unfortunately, on the day of the inspection he was 25 minutes late and came unprepared with not a single device for testing and only visually looked at the house. He did not even bring a flashlight! I was using my phone flashlight to see what was going on in the basement. He did provide a few pieces of information that were helpful in solidifying our decision in not taking the house but was greatly disappointed with his process. The only reason I'm not giving him 1 star is because he was still friendly. I would not recommend him to anyone and would not use him again in the future.
