This year would be Bill Reid's 100 birthday if he was alive. My mom was visiting from Kelowna and we took her to the Bill Reid Gallery since she is such a big fan of his works. It was beautiful, some of the artwork was breathtaking. There was a wall with pictures of his life and people in his life, it was very informative. His works were tastefully displayed as well as works from other Haida artists. This gallery is a great place to take visitors as well as one to explore on your own. I highly recommend this gallery.

How could this place exist for 10 years and I not know about it? We had a fabulous time--me, my wife and my mother-in-law. Spent 90 mins just enjoying the downstairs-- the Bill Reid section. Will definitely go back!
Cozy, beautiful place with thought-provoking exhibits. Museum shop sells a variety of indigenous art pieces, including a few contemporary ones which we liked a lot. Good parking rates at the building.
What a fabulous spa e. We spent 90 minutes there. There were no other people the whole time. The do displays we're very interesting.
So many marvels, magic, tradition and culture in this tiny but beautiful museum! Bill Reid's pieces are inspiring. The beauty of the building creates a peaceful atmosphere and is invitation to reflexion. I had a very sweet chatter with the front desk ladies, they know a lot about indigenous cultures and arts.
