I Was Referred to Bikes in barlow (Ron)by an old friend... I’m very glad to have crossed paths with Ron and his staff !! They have been more than accommodating with the vast knowledge of experience held in this shop !!! Wow!!! Truly impressed! He had stored my bike for the winter season. Just this month I had decided to get a spring service package done there... he not only did this inexpensive spring service for me but also provided a detailed list of results as well as suggestions and explanations of proper maintenance, in which I am a huge fan of preventive maintenance . Who wants to be stuck on the side of the road with their ride broke down !!! I am thankful with all the work you have and are still doing for me Ron!!!! Extremely top notch service !!!!! Anybody want a good knowledgeable service staff for any custom bike or any other street bike of any sort to have repairs or maintenance performed ??? 10 plus star rating I give this place ! Mostly for the experience, politeness , efficient and honest staff is what a customer should always look for ! Cheers to you Ron and all your staff !!!! I will not go anywhere else to have my ride entrusted !!!!
Great first time experience at Bikes On Barlow. They got me in immediately, fixed the issue in under an hour, didn't try and upsell me on anything, shared knowledge and advice. Personable, friendly, reasonably priced, and they avsolutely know what they're doing. Highly recommended.
Ordered off Ron's website, patiently waited 12 days for product to arrive. No response to emails, no shipping confirmation, so I called to inquire. Ron said he sent an email the day after the order was placed, an email was never received, the email inquiry I sent via the website about the shipping status never received a response either. Only while on the phone was Ron finally able to get an email to be sent through. I asked for a refund, and for confirmation of a refund, again later that day Ron claimed he sent it via email, which never showed up. He then refused to show any confirmation of a refund other than sending one through Canada Post and refused to take a screen shot of said refund claiming he wasn't aware of how to shoot a screen. Complete lack of customer service by not reaching out when there are shipping issues on his end due to his incorrect website and choosing to sit back and wait until the customer can get into contact with him to solve the problem that the customer is completely unaware that one even exists. Phone number was included with order and with website email inquiry.
Good price and fantastic service. Ron is an honest mechanic and has been servicing both of my bikes. He will send you text and picture updates, and has always looked out for his customer's best interest. Would recommend to anyone looking for a motorcycle mechanic.
Ron and the guys at the shop were great! If I could give more stars I would. They picked me up from my house and drove me to my stalled out bike. They send you pictures and videos throughout the process to let you in on what is going on. They don't do more than they need to and the atmosphere at the shop and the personability of Ron is a great addition to the exceptional work they do! Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Ron!
I have a collection of nine motorcycles from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Ron, at RMotorcycles looks after all my bike needs. From tire changes to motor rebuilds to full-on customization, I trust all my work to Ron. I have been going to bike mechanics for over 50 years. I must say I've never been more impressed. Ron has an extremely logical approach to diagnostics. He then presents you with any repair options, including pictures, diagrams and explanations in layman's terms. And, with your approval, completes the work with meticulous precision. Ron provides friendly, expert service for much less cost than the big boys.
One man shop that gives that personal touch. Talked me through the issues I was having with my clutch. Showed me how it all worked and I was able to see all the parts involved via pictures and video he sent me before deciding on how in-depth to proceed. Through Ron’s knowledge I was able to still ride for the rest of riding season without any issues. No that winter is here i will get Ron to do a complete tear down and rebuild. I would highly recommend RMotorcycles.
