I took out maybe a foot of the old soil I brought from another company for in my hope the new better soil for the roots to feed better from. The bag of black garden soil filled the rest of my raised garden bed and I was able to use it for a tree transplant. The ground in my yard has a lot of sand and rocks :( So I used the new soil to aid my plants and I must say, the quality is so much better than the stuff I bought last year. The perfect amount of sand with the black soil to help with drainage. There is handles on the corners of the bag, all 4 corners, upper and lower so when the bag is nearly empty you can grab them and know the handles aren't going to give in. They are built into the bag really well. A nice string (maybe nylon) has a loop at the middle of the tarp of the bag with a cut end, making it so the tarp is sealed up perfectly to keep the rain out. Also the soil stayed nice and soft after sitting in the bag for a few days, did not harden like what I bought last year, needed a small hand held rake. It did get cool and warm off and on, temperature did not affect the texture, nice and easy to dig out :) did not get frost but so far this soil is vastly superior to what I bought last year.

What a perfect way to get your garden soil for the season, Delivery was as requested , on time and set in place. Soil is of highest quality and easy to remove from the bag, Love the way the soil is protected from the elements. Recommend this company and will be using it again.

I purchased 3 yd.³ from the big yellow bag of triple mix black earth/topsoil. My experience was exemplary. The big yellow bags were delivered directly to my driveway, and they are closable, so rain does not get into them if you don’t manage to use the entire bag at one time. The bags have a deposit, so you can return them and get money back. Or,You can keep the bags for future use
