About a year ago i went to the smart centres best buy to buy a laptop and was accompanied by my boyfriend. I was helped by a young gentlemen who refused to speak to me unless my boyfriend was present, even though it was i who was buying the laptop. The young man would not speak to me when i asked questions about the laptops and would look at my boyfriend and wait for him to walk over, then only speak to him about it. When i finally decided on a laptop, he stated that he was surprised by my choice and instead tried to persuade me to buy a laptop that was 800 more than the one i had picked. I assured him i was happy with the one i had picked and he then went to get it from the back and met us at the counter. When the laptop rang through it was 150 more than the ticketed price of the laptop i had picked. I then pointed out to him that this was much more expensive than what the ticket price said and he tried to assure me that this was the one. I then showed him the one that i had originally picked and he then tried telling me that the one he gave me was much better for the price. When finally i received the right laptop i was hassled to let them set the laptop up for me and "optimize" it for an extra charge. I told them many times that i have set up a Mac book before and it is not difficult.

Placed an order online and it arrived before the expected shipping date. The tracking number provided game no issues and worked perfectly. I liked the fast shipping. In store, the selection is fairly large and with many options however the customer service isn't great. You have to wait for a long time to get help.
Husband and I purchased a chair from Best Buy (not a 3rd party seller, it was directly through best buy). The chair upon delivery arrived with a large puncture hole in the leather and the cream colored leather was covered with so many brown stains/scuffs/wear and tear.. as if it were a floor model. We were offered a mere 10% off as a courtesy. Woopteedoo.. a big 30 of savings for a chair that looks beyond used and ripped. Of course we were forced to return the chair back to best buy, which we had to rent a truck to transport the large chair, in order to get an immediate refund. Super inconvenient process, and was shocked to receive an item in such poor condition in the first place.
I appreciate at this stage in the pandemic everyone is just trying to get through the day, but Mike W at the Best Buy in Cambridge on Pinebush road had a choice today and he chose poorly. I entered with my partner both of us have medical reasons to not have a mask on, if you respectfully ask us why we can not wear one we may share our stories, the law protects myself and my partner from requiring to do this. Now understandably this may limit me to some services however by law the establishment is required to give us alternative options which a representative kindly tried to do. However I could not get online confirmation if my item was in fact available. So after being told that it is for the safety of their shoppers I had to continue on my way maskless. I’m not looking for a standing ovation that I don’t wear a mask, I’m looking for the law and respect of others to be upheld during a time where people are clearly confused at what is and what is not lawful. I have filed a complaint with head office and with the WRPS
Best customer experience. Staff is so friendly and supportive. They have proper knowledge about product and help to select the right product for right use. All items are organised and categorised.
The friendly staff makes visiting this Best Buy a great experience. Have nothing but good things to say!
Attended the Cambridge Ontario store and the sales person was helpful . When done she took me to the cashier to purchase my 700.00 in items when I realized I has forgotten one small thing I went back to get it and had to stand in line it took almost 10 minutes for each of the two cashiers to check out each person in front of me. After 20 minutes a customer had a sales rep put her customers items first in line despite everyone waiting their turn So I left the store- a wasted trip. I don't know if they are up selling or what they are doing at the customer service desk but this was the most inefficient process where you would think they could just scan.
Just a thought maybe awnser phones and offer customer. Service
