I cannot say enough great things about Lindsay! Working with her was an absolute joy! The support she provided us throughout our journey (before, during and after the birth of our little one) was invaluable. She was definitely meant to be a doula. Her kindness, patience, wisdom, and encouragement helped me feel prepared and not scared going in to our first birth and she kept those feelings flowing throughout the whole experience. Lindsay's support and connection with us was so amazing that we continued working with her well into our postpartum. We feel that she went above and beyond our expectations and made our transition into life as parents (and me as a breastfeeding mom) so much easier and calmer (her knowledge and support with breastfeeding was fantastic!!) We feel so blessed to have found her. Doulas are amazing!!! Interview a bunch and find one who fits with you. If you pick Lindsay you will NOT be disappointed! :) Much love for Lindsay and Erika :)
I hired Erika for my 3rd Pregnancy. I always wanted to experience a water birth and was unsuccessful for various reason with my 1st and 2nd pregnancy. I also had fears of tearing again, as my previous births left me very sore and swollen leaving my post-natal recovery long and painful. Erika was amazing to talk to about these fears. She listened and addressed my concerns with valuable information. She set up the birthing tub for me and supported me every step of the way. My husband was relaxed and was able to take care of other two children. Instead of our birth being a stressful and tiring event, hiring Erika made it the most enjoyable and memorable experience for my entire family. Not to mention, I did not tear and my post-natal recovery was night and day to my other birth experiences. It was also the best money I invested. If I have a 4th, I will definitely be hiring Erika again!
