I brought my 5 year old daughter here and I was anxious at first, just cause although my daughter needed a trim, she is autistic so wasn't sure how she would handle the environment. We were booked with Cara and it was SUCH an amazing experience. Cara was super patient, kind and made sure to ask my daughter about things that she could be sensitive about (like the hair wash and using the blow dryer). My daughter did not have a meltdown and she left super happy with her rainbow hair. I will definitely be booking here again. It was just such a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone at Beaners for helping me and my daughter. ️

Beaners March 23, 2021 @ 1020 My husband and I took our son for his first haircut. We called when we arrived for our appointment and waited in the car as per instructions on the door. When I called a second time I was told to just come in as they were very busy. Once inside we were told to put our son in a chair which was dirty and covered in another child's hair. Our son immediately was scared, so I sat him on my lap in a another chair. The hairdresser aggressively attempted to put the cape on him without explaining what she was about to do, which scared my son even more. My husband put on the cape. The hairdresser then proceeded to come at my clearly upset and scared son with the clippers without any explanation or description of what she was about to do. Never once addressing him or trying to make him feel more comfortable. This was his first haircut and she picked up clippings of the floor for me to keep and placed them in a folded piece of paper. The reason I chose Beaners for his first haircut was so it could be a positive experience for him, it was anything but.

Waited in a parking lot for 40 minutes Calling and leaving voicemails to tell them we were there for our appointment, to find out that they were behind and had started taking later appointments, essentially cancelling ours. Super frustrating for a little girl really excited for her haircut. zero empathy from the staff.

Disappointed.I had very bad experience. My son got terrible haircut. Also chairs seemed not clean there.My son had to get in the chair covered with someone’s hair . It’s not good especially during the pandemic.

Sadly not a good experience. First time we came was better so I will give them that! This was our second time here and it just isn't worth the higher price. The concept is great and first experience was good but this time they were late to open the store with no apology and didn't make any effort (outside of the cool cars they get to sit in and the lollipops) to make the kids feel comfortable. On top of that they cut both of our kids hair too short even after us confirming a certain length. It's hard cutting kids hair and I understand that. Didn't have crazy high expectations but when you're paying 46 (that's not including a tip) every couple of months for their haircuts... We were left disappointed and going to be finding somewhere else to take them.

My daughter had her first birthday hair cut here she was so happy she got hair colour spray and glitter. And super patient hairdressers.

This was my daughters first haircut, an experience that we were greatly looking forward to and sadly extremely disappointed with the entire experience. We were the first appointment for the day and the stylist was 20 min late. Then she sprayed my daughters hair, took 5 min to cut (which I could have easily done myself) and that was the end of the appointment. She didn’t dry or style her hair. We left in -25C with wet hair paying 20. I would never return or recommend this establishment.
