It was a afternoon lunch after cherry picking. Got there around 2:15 and was told to wait for 40-45 mins. They only have limited spots in patio so I think it is understandable. Food is great. Those veggies on the side seem to be the goodies from their local suppliers or some nice farms. The Baked Seafood Gratin is super creamy. My friend got tons of mini scallops and a decent amount of shrimps. He thinks it can be better with some calamari but it is super tasty as what it is for sure.

We found this little gem on our way back from Niagara on the lake. We ordered the seafood gratin and blackened chicken gnocchi. Totally blown away with the flavour and quality of the ingredients. Scrape the plate clean kind of good. We finished lunch off with the Beamsville blackout cake. This desert is to die for!!! Definitely recommend August Restaurant!! Five stars doesn’t do it justice.
We just had brunch here on a Sunday on Oct 2020 and Darren was our server. He is just fantastic and so excellent with his customer service. He made us feel so welcomed and so at home. The food is AMAZING!!! locally sourced and from farm to table. Darren is a great food ambassador. We liked all the food: Seafood Gratin, Mushroom Soup, Braised Beef, Misto Fristo, Apple French Toast and a MUST - Sticky Toffee with Ice Cream!!! We will definitely come back here!!!
Very well thought out menu with a near perfect execution! The food may take a minute or two longer to come out , but seeing as the chef was the only person in the kitchen i'd say BRAVO! I am eagerly anticipating my next visit!
Went here for lunch Oct 2 just to have a relaxing lunch with my wife. My wife decided to go for two appetizers - falafel plate and crispy duck rolls. The falafel was good and tasty but she thought it could have been crispier. The duck rolls were excellent, especially the chili blueberry sauce along with it. I found my Fritto misto (deep fried shrimp, calamari and artichoke hearts) delicious. The Alabama cocktail sauce served with it was excellent, my wife even used some on the falafel. My main, Blackened Chicken Gnocchi was excellent. Chicken was just spicy enough and the gnocchi cooked just right. Great taste on the pesto and the roasted peppers just topped it off perfectly. To accompany all of that we had a 2018 Malivoire small lot Chardonnay which was delicious. Easy drinking and held up well to everything. Service was excellent and we weren't left waiting. Will certainly go back.
