Just completed the two day Non Restricted and Restricted course so I may apply for a P A L. I want to recommend BC Firearms Academy in the strongest terms possible to everyone who intends to take this course. The entire staff is amazing. Friendly, accommodating, prompt, knowledgeable, sensitive, to your situation and how to make it the best it can be, their patience has no limits. Eric is the instructor who is exceptionally well versed in all things related to firearms, ammunition, firearms ethics, safety measures etc. Along with that though is the fact that he is exceptional at passing that information over to his students, after all, that is the main purpose of us taking the course. He will field all and any questions endlessly, he will give personal help on each firearm, ammunition, question during the sessions. He has an energetic spirit that keeps students attentive and able to absorb all that is presented. The venue is great. The displays and access are excellent so each student can practice all they wish to. I had to travel from UBC out to Surrey for the two day course. I chose to do that because other former students who had taken the course at BC Firearms Academy had so strongly recommended them. The distance and travel time were well worth it and I am so thankful that I made that choice. No matter your reason for taking the course, be certain to make whatever arrangements you have to, to be able to enroll with B.C. Firearms Academy in Surrey. Cannot emphasize that more strongly.
