The recently announced ew fares and payment/booking options\ has virtually no changes from previous reservation/booking options, except they get your credit card payment in advance rather than at the terminal. The reservation fee's of 10 and 17 are the same as previous. When BC Ferries announced a revamped booking system with more flexibility on when you arrive at terminals, it sounded great, the current window of no earlier than 60 minutes and no later than 30 minutes is a pretty narrow window to arrive at the terminal without jeopardizing your reservation - especially when you take in all the variables in commuting to terminals. Pretty disappointing after waiting years for flexibility and options when travelling with BC Ferries.

Most of the ships on the Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen Route is in fine condition. Seat is good with adequate spacing. Elevator on board for people with disabilities or other challenges. Play area for kids and quiet cubicle area for studying or bussiness professional. Great cafeteria food by White Spot. But some food items or a bit expensive. The outside Deck is great for getting a bit of sun, fresh air and taking in a great view of the Islands. Most of the time the sailing is pretty smooth. Plenty of polite staff. However, I believe the Ferries should have adjustable seats given that the lenght of the rides (average 1.5 hours long). None-the-less very good service and safety record.

Janet Carson is beyond vile and disgusting. She is a huge mistake and is not encouraging anyone to ride or use the Ferrie ever. Fire her for the good of humanity.
