A beautiful place to spend a hot Summer day! We drove up for a day trip and really enjoyed the trails, warm water and scenery. This place reminded me of Muskoka back home in Ontario ( without the pretentiousness) My only complaint was the massive amount of trash that was left by inconsiderate tourist's. My daughter was treated to a lovely pair of used underwear, socks, pants, dirty shirts. There was dozens of beer cans, coffee cups, water bottles, I even saw a lady just leave a bag of garbage as she walked away. For people to leave trash all over this beautiful picturesque setting...is disgusting. Please do everybody( and the environment) a favor,PLEASE pack out your refuse as you depart.Other than that, we had an enjoyable family trip and would recommend.

Beautiful place!! The rushing river and the breeze in the trees make for a very calming and serene place to visit. You can walk along it on one side following a forest path that is a few meters away from the edge. Or if you are feeling adventurous you can actually walk on rocks that line the river. It was breathtaking; however, go in with no preconceptions.

Drove the side by side from Miramichi to the falls. It was a nice destination to arrive at, weather was beautiful. It's a nice place to have a picnic, suntan and relax. Nice sound from the falls and absolutely gorgeous.
