Our team of health care providers, led by Dr. Cam Morrison and Dr.Rea Marcelissen, focus on providing a wide range of care for companion animals. Our boarding, grooming and day care facilities are at your service. Heated floors add comfort to your pet's boarding experience. Boarding felines will be housed in their own private "cat condos". Barriefield was recommended to me by a friend when I first adopted my dog. Staff were very accommodating with my ew to me\ elderly dog and all of my new dog ownership questions. It was evident upon arrival that being a rescue she has had limited and/or negative experiences at the vet. They were very patient and created new positive experiences for her. I have never dealt with the clinic outside of Covid19 but their current protocols have kept visits informative and safe for my dog and myself. Recently, my dog had a surgery and staff fully explained the procedure with full transparency. I was called throughout the visit with updates, as well as checked on the next day. My dog is happily healing and much more comfortable eating. My dog and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Thank you Lily, Emma, Rylie, and Dr. Morrison!

Absolutely fantastic veterinarians who care and take the time to explain everything. We almost lost our cat after Christmas and thanks to their efforts hes back to his old self. Hes certainly thankful :)

My kitten Jasper is not a fan of the vets and can get pretty aggressive. The staff at Barriefield are so wonderful and do a wonderful job at keeping him as comfortable and calm as possible under their care they answer any questions I have and are very accommodating. I’m so happy Jasper has such lovely people to help make sure he is happy and healthy even if he is a pain in the butt sometimes!

I have 1 dog and 3 cats that are seeing by this clinic. They are genuinely caring about animals, the prices are reasonable. Also everytime I call to ask questions (even if it's 2-3 times a week when I get new furry kids) the always help me over the phone; most vet I dealt with in the past wouldn't want to answer and wanted an in-person consultation to get . Everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. Thank you Barriefield animal hospital for taking care of my furry children ️

The team is very professional compassionate and helping. I'm french canadian and they were always very patient with me and they gave me the right info. My 13 years old cat recently passed away and I really appreciated their empathy. They also gave a good care for my dog.
