Alex Costa is my massage therapist at Healica Massage. Alex is an awesome massage therapist. She really cares about her patients, and wants to help them feel better. She is really engaging and easy to talk to, allowing me to feel comfortable to share what my issues are so she can treat them. She asks the right questions to help narrow down what the issue may be that is causing the pain and discomfort, and she has the experience and knowledge to know how to properly treat it. She is continuing her education in school studying acupuncture, showing her commitment to always learning and expanding her knowledge so she can best help her clients. She has been treating injuries and pain that I have had for a long time from sports/weightlifting. She has helped me feel and move a lot better. I personally get 90 minute to 120 minute deep tissue massages from her each week, as it allows me to get relief from pain and tightness throughout my whole body. Her treatments have given me the most relief from pain and tightness out of all the treatments I have tried (chiropractic, physiotherapy etc). Her treatments have allowed me to sleep much better also. She has helped relieve pain that I was having in my neck, that was causing issues with my sleep. Now that she has treated my neck pain, I am able to sleep much better! I highly recommend her services, and I know with her assistance she will help me get back to 100% so I can go back to doing the things I enjoy pain free (sports, weightlifting).

Sophia was excellent, was looking for relaxation massage and not deep tissue. She maintained perfect pressure throughout. Lovely personality, chatting when I engaged otherwise I was asleep. Have returned several times in last few weeks. Fantastic everytime.
If you Truly want to experience heaven then look no further, Please Ask for Denise. Denise is so sweet and made me feel very comfortable (which I don't usually feel with new people), she really listened to what was causing me pain & after the massage I felt like I was in heaven!!. Denise taught me what stretches to do & went above & beyond Any massage I've Ever had!!
I used to go to Healica Barrie for the \Healica Bamboo Blend 90 Minute\ with Sophia, and let me tell you, it is no exaggeration when I tell you that those were the BEST massages I have ever had in my life! So immensely relaxing and therapeutic. So sad to have moved and now am far away from Healica. Haven't had as good of an experience since. I have also gone to Denise for the Swedish Massage here and she is also excellent!
I really need pain relief and the deep tissue massage is the best I have had. They have deep tissue or regular massage so you get what you need.
