Great place to get salt very early mornings durring winter
I was initially very happy with the customer service, speed and efficiency of this company - however - must say I'm very disappointed in the product. Specifically the screened topsoil - While I understand that it's screened, and while it sits in the yard they can't protect it if weed seeds blow into it (what I was told when I called in to express my disappointment) The 6 yards I had delivered has been quite full of Ragweed, Pigweed and Clover - I've sadly had better luck with the 1 bags of topsoil from Walmart and Canadian Tire over the last 5-10 years, than I've had with this single delivery.
I have a stone company in Barrie, but I send all my customers for sand, gravel, and aggregate to Carr. They're more than friendly, helpful, and I'm pretty sure they have the best prices in Barrie.
Carr did fantastic. We hade a run in with a totally incompetent landscaping business who couldn't finish the job and left us with a mess and skids of materials that we didn't like. People at Carr delivered excellent customer service and were kind enough to accept back the materials. They even organized the transport. Thank you.
