Ballet Kelowna, under the direction of Simone Orlando, is an amazing company of talented dancers. The content of their shows is always interesting, beautiful, meaningful and well executed. For a small town, Kelowna is very fortunate to have such an impressive ballet company. Their latest show, Acts of Remembrance was a really touching way to celebrate Remembrance Day. There is a couple in the company and the chemistry between them is magnetic and beautiful to watch. Simone Orlando is well spoken, lovely, and an extremely talented artistic director. She continues to impress with the diverse selections she brings to the stage. Buying a ticket to a Ballet Kelowna show is always time and money well spent! Bravo!

Great company to see their shows. I take their adult classes and I really like that they take it seriously. They teach you ballet and take it seriously that it’s a skill you want to learn. Even if it’s your first time. Fun, friendly environment. Great teachers, good value for the price. Absolutely love it here.

Recently completely the introduction to ballet adult “In Motion” class. It spanned 10 weeks, once per week. It was FANTASTIC! I have zero dance or ballet experience and found the class to be a perfect introduction. The instructor Mary was perfect for the job as she is an excellent teacher who takes the class through everything in an organized manner for all to succeed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn a classical style of dance, or for anyone looking for a fantastic after work/school activity!
