First time at Bakery Nakamura and was impressed with their buns! Thankfully there wasn’t a line up to get inside. There’s quite a bit of variety of buns, pastries, and cold food. I imagine there would’ve been more options if not for covid and maybe if I came earlier. But either way, will definitely be back :)

We ordered the strawberry roll. Highly recommend this! We also picked up a load of bread. We were offered to have it sliced, but weren't asked about the size or purpose. Odd. Both the bread and cake exceeded expectations. The service was... maybe we were on an off day.

I always get my cakes from here. As a person that prefers less sugar, I appreciate the balance between the actual flavour of the cake and sweetness. My go to's are matcha red bean and earl grey

The bakery is amazing. Fresh and most versatile choices. The least favourite is those cream cake, too creamy for me. Creme caramel is my top choice, one of the best in town. pennacotta is great. French baguette and Danish pastries are excellent. Social distancing rules applied n zero body contact.

Ordered the strawberry mango cake as well as the chocolate and white chocolate cake. Both were light, not overly sweet, and yummy. I found the mangos to be a bit sour - mangos likely not in season. A bit pricey for the size of the cake (36 for a 6”). I enjoyed the cakes so I would order from them again. Unlike previous posts, the person handling cash did not also handle my cakes. He retrieved a baker to retrieve the cake for me.
