I have been going to the North Calgary Badlands location for several years. The staff are very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and paintball in general, and helpful. On my latest visit I saw one staff member assisting a new teen aged player, by reassuring his mother. The staff member was able to do this by explaining the game experience, what it felt like to be hit, and showing the new players mother optional pieces of protective gear that could be used to limit the potential for bruising on more vulnerable areas in answer to her concerns. Great shop when they were open. They've opened a new location at 463 42 Ave SE which is just as good.

I bought a bunch of quick-connects from these guys and the threads were not proper NPT threads and would not form a proper seal. The threads were in very bad shape and I could not use the parts in that condition. I showed the problem to Andrew Lyons and he basically blew me off - apparently these guys don't give a s**t about safety. I wonder what else they don't care about....

Badlands in North Calgary is my go-to store for paintball gear in Calgary. They stock what I need and always have good advice and staff on hand to answer questions or make solid recommendations. Scott Hale Sabre Lieutenant Crimson Sabres

Made some purchases from this location, they're okay. I found the experience of the store very underwhelming. I've found most of the staff to be lackluster and bored, seeming like they don't want to be there or unknowledgable, and unhelpful. I only had one helpful member but I've never seen her there again. The biggest issue I had with this store/company is pricing, you can get everything airsoft way cheaper anywhere else. One gun I was looking at was marked up 170 compared to many other canadian retailers, which is why I went elsewhere and ordered my gun from bc. I had the gun in my hands at the store and they could not give me any conceivable reason why it was marked up so much. I would have bought it there, that visit but due to your prices you lost a sale and will probably not get much more from me unless you drop them. It would be so convenient because it's the only shop in the city selling G&G but I'm okay waiting for a shipped gun if I save over 100. So check your pricing on the G&G GR-25 that you have listed at 625.99 because I can get it for 500 everywhere else and it's going to be my next gun purchase. Fix that and I'll give you my money.
