We need this race track. It will make the area a world class location. Dealing effectively with wildlife and land rehabilitation will set this as an example to the rest of the world.

I was fortunate to have Jay Zelazo and his wife Ori as partners for two off-road racing events in China, in front of 300,000 plus spectators and 92 million TV viewers nation wide, 30 plus crew, 11 race vehicles, support staff and considerable tech equipment/spare parts package. The timelines, logistics and many personalities involved made it seem insane and impossible at most times. The guy is very intelligent, calm, rational, creative and a sharp eye for detail. No question about his passion for motorsports. All the naysayers and haters need to check their entitlement and demanding attitudes that are beyond the scope of normal, take a step back and be quiet, the guy is a pro at what he does. Alberta will only win for having a world class driving facility such as the Badlands Motorsports Resort. I have absolutely no doubt what so ever, that anyone driving a lap at Badlands will have their mind blown by the experience. Lastly, how could I be certain of this? If the guy can engineer and organize a situation, more than 8000 km away in China of all places and in the Gobi Desert, whereby he and Ori, are the first people in the world to drive up the very steep side of a rocky mountain... no path... sheer cliffs... 40inch racing beadlock tires inches from the edge of no return... and then over the actual Great Wall of China... in the most technically advanced 600hp 4Wheel Drive race vehicles in existence... on two separate occasions... in front of tons of cameras... in addition to all our off-road festival racing commitments... consider for a moment what all had to take place to make all that happen, on the other side of the world, successfully. Safe to say that the Badlands Motorsports Resort could not be in better hands. Be patient, great things take time. Try giving him a hand up instead of a hand down and you might just like what you get in return. Thanks Jay and thanks Ori... landing on the Moon would not have been possible without you.
