We bicycled around NFLD this summer were looking for a ferry or boat to take us from one side of the water to the other so that we could avoid the Trans Canada highway. We found Badger Bay Boat tours and asked if they would be willing to transport us from one shore (Triton) to the other (Leading Tickles). Not only did Captain Mike allow us to take our bikes and touring gear in his boat he gave us an exceptional tour along the way. We saw bald eagles, cool caves, and an iceberg! And we were really lucky to see the iceberg calve while we were there. We even got to taste the iceberg! Captain Mike is very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm is infectious. He was just as excited as we were to see the iceberg and over the moon to see it calve. This day way a highlight of our trip. Even if you don't see an iceberg, Mike will give you an excellent tour and fill your brain with lots of interesting facts about the area. The scenery is spectacular and touring with Mike is a great way to get up and close to it. I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic 2 hours in which we saw whales, icebergs, bald eagles and more. Kids had a great time pulling lobster traps, holding starfish and sea urchins. Ran into other friendly Newfoundlanders fishing and pulling traps. Moore family - Kitchener, ON
