Unassuming grill joint that's probably an office favourite for the many workers in the area. I was on a daytime errand and thought I'd check it out for lunch. It's a very small, crammed place owned by an old Egyptian couple. Half of the menu is Mexican which is a bit off, and they don't do much to integrate this thematically. There isn't much passion put into this business, just an old couple making a living.
Was in Toronto for the week and wanted koshari. Found it here, so I did the drive into the downtown area to eat there. Wasn't that good. I took a veggie platter and two koshari plates for myself and a friend. I paid about 35. He doesn't take credit card. Cash or debit only. One guy working only, and he can't handle orders that fast. A couple of customers who came after us waited for about 10 minutes before being able to put in their order. The lentil and rice part of the koshari was stale and probably had been in the fridge for a week. He forgot to add the falafel in the veggie platter which kind of sucked cause that's why I ordered it. This place is not good for Arabs it is good for drunk people that want to sober up.
One of the best tasting Chicken Shawarma sandwiches I have ever had! Very tasty. The owners are extremely friendly and eager to please. Not the biggest portion sizes but the taste makes up for that. I will definitely be a return customer.

Great family-run service. Always so pleasant when we go and Mohamed remembers us every time we are back. Food is awesome too, haven't had anything like it elsewhere in Toronto.
