Bought a Beyond Meat burger today and had to throw out half of it because it tasted like raw meat, as vegan it was terrifying. Now that a couple hours have passed I can confirm I have food poisoning. I haven't fallen ill in over a year and attended class and a meeting since 6am and was feeling energetic, and happy. After I ate the burger I started getting chills and stomach pain within 2 hours, which led to me having to leave the library and am now waiting in the doctor's office. I have also thrown up twice in the process of constructing this message. Please understand that people buy fast food because they have bigger matters to attend to, and paying more for the food is to keep people going. This is just inexcusable, you can not offer subtitles and be this inadequate, especially with a higher price tag for "healthier food." I am extremely upset, as just buying the burger is an expense I must think about a million times as a poor university student. As a vegan for 5 years now I was one of the first to try a beyond meat burger and recommend it to friends and family. I thought I could trust the goods and services provided, but now my entire week will be affected by the staff's incompetence. Considering all the trouble this experience has caused me, I feel I should be be refunded.
