Watch out for this crook. We had an agreement with a fully refundable deposit, Trevor cashed my money, then ghosted me and has still not refunded me. After three weeks, I'm hearing every excuse imaginable as to why he won't return my calls. He had a car accident, hit his head, then he got the coronavirus. All lies. If you need help suing him, you can contact me. Find me on google.

Olivier (or anyone else looking for Trevor) please contact me, find me on Facebook, Leah Bliss. Together maybe we can track Trevor down. Trevor Matthew refuses to pay me after he sold a boat for me. I am a widowed single mother of two. He is withholding money from the sale while continuing to make excuses as to why he can’t get it to me. He was recommended to me from a trusted friend. But he has been a nightmare to deal with. Continually dropping off so you don’t know where he is. A few of people looking at the boat commented to me that he was terrible to deal with. One threatened to sue after he wouldn’t give him his deposit back. Now he won’t pay me after the sale of the boat. I’ve checked with the new owner and he paid in full 3 months ago.
Worst week of my life. Hands down. Trevor Matthew seemed unprofessional from the start. His communication was inconsistent throughout the whole process, and even worse immediately after we'd signed an offer. His website showed his affiliation with the BC Yacht Brokers Association and BC Boating, so we felt comfortable giving a deposit and signing an offer on contingency. Getting our deposit back was even more difficult - our attempts to reach Trevor were returned by a text stating he was in a car accident and I would get called back shortly - which never came. God bless the guy if he was really in a car accident - but putting us off stating that someone named \Allen\ would send our deposit back by cheque did not put our minds at ease. The next few days Trevor consistently ignored texts, emails and phone calls, from myself and my spouse. It took days of relentless badgering to get our deposit back - missing other opportunities to purchase a boat elsewhere. We reported this to the BC Yacht Brokers Association and BC Boating, who both replied Aviso Yacht Sales is no longer a member of either organization - and the paperwork Aviso's been using from 2013 is illegitimate. The website is way out of date - showing boats for sale and salesmen who are no longer part of the company. Poor business practices overall, save your time and stay away from Aviso... I guess the BCYBA got through to them as their website was updated yesterday to show they are no longer members... We aren't bad people - we just had a really bad experience...during a time we really could've used a helpful broker get us into a boat. Don't just take our word for it - read the other eviews\. Phone the \office number\. Try the \855\ number too. Make your own decision! But buyer beware...
Trevor, the owner and his team are absolute experts in anything to do with yachts and boating sales on Vancouver Island. Highly recommended boat brokers, selling or buying.
