My favourite experience: Wife and I stopped at this little Latino-centric kiosk; I love their tamales. That day we were searching for guacamole. We asked about it and the lady said it would be about 10 minutes. I said, "Oh, why the wait?" She replied, "Well I have to make it first." Guacamole made to order?! Uh, yes please! Please check this market out, and don't forget the guac!

Great little mini food mall with local vendors! Waaaayyy too many options to select from, will definitely need to come back soon. Great option for the kids as each were craving different food for dinner. There are a couple produce stalls as well, and we ended up picking up some fruit and veggies. As with many restaurants during COVID, it appeared as though most of the vendors were on all the food delivery apps...so a great option if you don’t have enough time to drop by. Lots of public parking in and around the Avenida retail centre.

I do not recommend the Indian cuisine, Taste of India. The naan bread was thick pita bread, not traditional or authentic at all. The butter chicken was also not well made. The meat was extremely over cooked and very dry. Thinking back, I find it interesting that many of the vendors prepared the food fresh. This vendor had the food sitting under heat lamps. Super disappointing since the market usually has great food vendors. Super disappointed I spent so much on a meal.

Avenida Food Hall & Market is a great place to come for a meal, grab some groceries or just stop in for a coffee or dessert. There is a wide selection of cuisines so there will be something for every taste. Take home some fresh produce, meats and baking. I will definitely be a repeat customer. It can easily be a 5 star market once it's completely full.

The world needs more places like this. From fresh ice cream to fusion foods, you can find what you're looking for, even wine! Fantastic place for pickup right now or dine in lunch or dinner when the covid rules change. If you work or live in this area, it's handy, if you don't you owe it to yourself to drop in.
