Very good service. Super friendly atmosphere, except when the high school kids come in and keep talking to the owner about a bunch of random nonsense. You can tell that there's only so much anyone can listen to a bunch of pimply faced teenagers. That being said, the ski selection is very selective and I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. As an intermediate-expert though, the gear is up to par and the advice is beyond reproach.

This is your one stop shop for all your ski needs! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they are truly experts at what they do. They will give you the best advice and will make sure you leave a happy and satisfied customer. The shop has the highest quality items, you definitely get what you pay for. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Best ski shop in the city.....hands down!! Paul and the team take their time to make sure you get exactly what you need and they really know what they're talking about contrary to some of the bigger box stores. I would never shop for ski equipment elsewhere.
You may find cheaper but you won’t find better, at least not in Montreal. They fixed a bad boot fit done by another “bootfitter” on the south shore. I don’t mind paying a premium for expert service and quality products and you get that and so much more at Austrian Ski. To the commenter below who complained about buying boots from a big box store and then getting miffed about service at Austrian Ski, maybe you should try taking your boots back to the big box store and see how the boot fitting service experience is there before complaining here :-)
Myself and a friend of mine were in need of new ski boots and had little luck finding what we needed in Ottawa. We travelled to Montreal and had the Boutique de Ski Austrian on our list and couldn't have had a better experience. Marc was our boot fitter and he listened to our concerns and thoughts and offered suggestions that resulted in two skiers who are excited to hit the snow with new boots. He was patient, friendly and the environment was great. Paul was always there to offer his suggestions also and treated us so well. I can't recommend this ski shop more for their service and dedication to have clients leave happy. Thank you Marc and Paul so much!
