After I registered my 8-year old daughter and watched her in the dojo, I enrolled into classes myself. I really enjoy how the classes are structured. The instructors are very attentive and supportive. Overall, the atmosphere is very positive and cheerful, with the strong spirit of the Karate. I wish classes could last longer than 45 min. But you can take two classes in a row if you wish.

I highly recommend Aurora Family Martial Arts. I love the Adult Kickboxing. They offer both in class and virtual. The instructors are great and they offer classes for all age groups. it is a great way to get fit and learn new skills. Great atmosphere and very encouraging based learning.

My 7 year old daughter joined just under a month ago, and I am very impressed with the program and classes at Aurora Family Martial Arts. There are so many martial arts programs out there, but I am so glad I chose Aurora Family Martial Arts! Michael and the rest of the staff/teachers are amazing! Its a very welcoming and comfortable place and my daughter enjoys going. She has progressed more than I expected and she is really happy there. Would recommend if you're looking for a program, but are unsure where to start! Their adult Kickboxing program is also a great workout if you're looking for something different to try!

Aurora family martial arts is a great place for both kids and adults. The teachers are fantastic! They always go above and beyond to ensure everyone is having the best experience. It’s hard work, discipline, structure, personal targets/achievements, fun & so much more. Having said that, the best thing about this place which I find pretty unique (and rare) is the genuine interest in students, their wellbeing and constant development. My kids absolutely love Aurora family martial arts!

I decided to enroll in the AFMA because it was nice and close, little did I know how amazing Michael would be and his team of instructors. I've noticed in my short time there that each of the instructors brings their unique way of teaching and expertise to the classes. I always feel welcome when I show up for class and I enjoy the skills that I am learning with Karate and Kickboxing. An excellent combination, great workouts!
