Oh my gosh....where to begin. Just over a year ago we hired Alair Homes, Aurora to build our custom home. Our project was a big one and lots of detail so we knew we wanted a company we felt could meet our expectations. Alair nailed it! From the day we met with Jason and David we knew they were a good fit for us. We had interviewed other builders but were impressed with Altair’s transparency. We always knew what the bids were from subs, budget meetings every week, open communication and awesome project managers. I was very involved in the whole presses, from framing to finish I worked closely with our PM and Alair was very good with me and my sometimes crazy ideas! I have to say building our dream home during COVID wasn’t always the easiest and sometimes frustrating as you can imagine. But 100% support from them was so helpful. For most our our project Andrew was our PM and he did such an awesome job. He was a good fit for me to work with. Very detailed, great note taker, and always clam. He made sure to have the trades we hired there on time and finished on time. Ben has been supper helpful as well filling in when needed. As big of a project as it was and dealing with this crazy year of COVID it went pretty seamlessly. We have been in our new home now for a few months and everyday I look around and love everything about this house! Great job Alair! We have referred them to several people now. They really are the best to build or Reno with. Thanks guys!

We hired Alair for our upper floor renovation, which included 3 bathrooms, all new floors, doors, trim and a new staircase. From the first meeting with David, we felt confident that we would be a good fit. David listened to our goals and prepared a well detailed spreadsheet outlining the scope of work and proposed budget. Once approved, we met Ben, the project manager for our reno. Ben was amazing. Ben always shows up when he says he will, as well as, always being mindful of budget, keeping trades on track, keeping the site clean and paying attention to the many details. The outcome of Alair's professionalism and hard work, resulted in a home we love!!
Alair Homes were terrific to work with. It was a real team collaboration between my wife and me and Alair Homes. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but when I saw it all come to together with the attention to detail and their genuine care for the job and our happiness I was convinced that this is the only way to do house renovations. It was not a worry at all and everyone of our friends that we told of our experience were very surprised that a renovation was carefree like it was. I like the way the website is set up to review our job, with precise dates, costs and how we reviewed them on a very regular bases. Every item that was to be installed, every subtrade that came in, was exactly as scheduled. Then there was our Project Manager Ben. He was awesome with his can-do attitude. He paid attention to every details from keeping our place super clean and organized during the process, it was gratifying to see. Ben went thru the schedule with us weekly and kept us updated regularly on any changes. He was meticulous with making sure we were satisfied with every detail. Overall, the experience as remarkable. We always knew what we were getting, when we were getting it and there was never a surprise on costs. Even when we changed our minds on a design piece (in our case added an extra long beam and opened up the house more), it was not a big deal with Alair and Ben and they had it done right away. Alair Homes Aurora, led by Dave and Jason was great.
