I have had Vanessa Foley as my psychologist since Dec 2020. She has gone above and beyond for me and my wife! She has never made us feel judged on anything. She is honest and truthful in every aspect. She has made time for us and always shown respect and support to our LGBTQ2 marriage. She took time when she didn't have it to pull me out of a very dark place and even took time that was not planned to check in as well as help me through a loss. She goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her to anyone.

While I would normally never publicly announce my struggles or tribulations through my life due to confidentiality issues, I found it extremely pertinent to address the negative review of my gifted and dedicated psychologist Vanessa Foley. Though she has moved clinics, gracefully opening her own after gaining years of experience, this review has the unfortunate potential to hinder her career or opportunity to provide life-changing/saving care to an individual seeking help. If you are reading this, please know that that negative review is based on ONE persons perceptions, and whilst I never want to dismiss or minimize someones experience, I needed to come here and say this has been the FARTHEST from my own perceptions, observations, or personal experiences as a long-time client of Vanessas. The aspects of my clinical diagnosis or treatment are irrelevant, however I will say that I am a mere shadow of the mess I was when I began treatment with Vanessa. She is compassionate, considerate, engaged, and thoroughly invested in each one of her clients. She has saved my life many times over, and I would entrust any one of my loved ones lives/mental health to her. A relationship with a psychologist is based solely on trust and safety, and I am sad for the person that left that review, that they haven't yet found the help that is right for their journey. But I have found mine in Vanessa after many attempts with many previous clinicians, and I hope you will heed the multiple other positive reviews in her support when choosing whom to entrust your mental health with.

Vanessa Foley has gone all out for me. She’s ruthless in finding ways that help and fit my needs which is something I’ve always lacked in a therapist until I met her. She saved my life and also saved me from myself. She got me clean from meth. Without her help I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m Stable, more confident and just a lot more aware of my emotions overall. I have bpd, so anyone who knows what that is understands that regulating emotions is extremely hard. But since seeing Vanessa people see a huge change with me and it’s just been over a few months. She does amazing work and truly loves the work she does. I couldn’t be happier that she’s my therapist and continues to support me. It shows with the amount of effort she puts in, she definitely goes the extra mile for her clients and I’d go as far as saying she loves each and everyone of them. I’m an ftm trans guy, and I struggled a lot with that. I hated myself for being trans and for reasons I won’t disclose here but she helped me realize I have true potential and I can still thrive being who I am. I’ve never once felt judged by her in anyway and in fact I opened up to her the most out of all the doctors, therapists and psychiatrists I’ve ever seen because I can feel she actually cares 100%. 5 star rating all around thank you for helping me and continuing the support me.

It’s unfortunate to have to review this place and not the person but avoid Vanessa Foley at all costs (probably a reason she can’t be reviewed individually on her own site). Self-serving, ego-driven, she was incredibly judgemental and unprofessional to me about superficial things such as my appearance. I feel embarrassed to have wasted 400 on “professional” advice with her. If you are looking for help with LGBTQ, or sensitive topics just look elsewhere.
