I have only the best things to say about Aspen Service Dogs. We have been in Aspen’s owner training service dog program for the past year. We are so impressed at how well Maria is able to work with everyone, both dogs and people, and her ability to mentor and to teach us the skills that we need our dog to be able to perform. I can see that Maria has a great love for what she does and has such a strong connection to each of the dogs. She truly is a ‘dog whisperer!’ Maria, Maureen, and the staff at Aspen are kind, understanding, friendly, inviting, and professional. We have appreciated and love the great community of the Aspen staff, the Aspen Puppy Raisers, and the Aspen Owner trained families. What a wonderful group of people to associate with on a regular basis! Our family will forever be grateful for the help and kindness that we are receiving from Aspen!

While living in a special needs world, many parents find themselves unable to be the ones teaching and giving their children what they need to succeed and thrive within this world. Owner training has not only given me the opportunity to build my confidence as a parent, but I now get to be the one giving my daughter a calm in her life and a best friend to help share the world with. Owner training means my child and her puppy grow and bond together naturally, they learn their cues from each other! It gives our child a sense of accomplishment because she gets to be included in the training process 100%, she's our special Jr Trainer and the best mama to her Ella. Aspen is family centred and love the people they work with. My child is loved like their own and we are supported in every aspect of this journey. My daughter and her pup are trained to together as a team and what a team they are! Thank you Aspen for letting me be mom and for loving your dogs and children the way you do!

Being a puppy raiser with Aspen Service Dogs has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Our family is now raising our third puppy who is learning the foundation needed to someday be matched with their forever person.
