Superb workmanship. This company re-plated very ornate serving utensils that came from Thailand. They totally transformed my tarnished, reddish-looking spoons and forks into stunning silver pieces, looking as if they were worth a fortune (they had cost me 5 each!). I was thrilled.

I had difficulty finding a place in Montreal that could replate my antique butter dish (beurrier), made of electroplated nickel silver (also known as German silver). Several places told me they were unable to do this work (Birks, Placages Lasalle, PP Polisseur, Electro Loh); Placages JG did not reply. Then I found Mario Lemelin at Arts & Métaux. Mario provided an excellent service. He was friendly, he gave me a firm estimate, and he delivered on time. Altogether, a very pleasant experience and my butter dish looks beautiful and brand-new again.
I found Mario through a Google search. He is an incredibly nice guy and so professional. The quality of his work is outstanding. He restored my scratched and burnt Alessi kettle to a mirror finish. It looks better than new!
