We’ve stayed here as both seasonal and short term guests and have had excellent experiences. Very family friendly and the owners are exceptionally accommodating. The sites are more open than somewhere like a provincial park but this creates a communal atmosphere and has led us to meet very lovely people. There are a few spots with fire pits and a shared fire pit in the green space that also has a sand pit and play structure for the kids. The facilities are very clean and welcoming and the laundry and sites themselves are priced quite fairly. What really topped it all off for us was how safe it is; our kids could ride their bikes without worry of being hit or yelled at, we rarely locked our doors and we even got back socks and mittens we lost in the wash! Honestly one of the best sites we’ve stayed at.
This is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in during our 8 years of full timing. We were nicely greeted by the owner who gave us a wealth of information about the area. Our site was large and well kept. We were sightseeing so did not spend a lot of time in the park itself. It is obviously a nice place to spend time away from urban environment if you are vacationing or a weekend RV'er. I wish there were more parks like this in the USA.
This is one of the cleanest and we'll run campgrounds I've stayed at. Decent sized lots, quiet and close to the city, but far enough to not have to worry about the riff raff. This my second year here. Highly recommend.
This was one of the most exceptional RV parks that I stayed in during a six-week trip across Canada, July-August 2019. The most useful features were easy access to Winnipeg, helpful office staff, pull through sites, clean amenities. A major plus--Arrowhead had the best, fastest and most secure wifi service in any of the parks I stayed in. Their high-speed reliable wifi was necessary to plan the trip five days ahead to determine lodging, road conditions and weather.
This RV park is conveniently located just south of Winnipeg. If that is a location where you want to RV, then this is a good spot. However, this is not my idea of camping. The site is well cared for and the staff are helpful. My issue is not with that. I just do not enjoy being sandwiched in with people and not having any privacy. This park offers absolutely no privacy between sites. If you are okay with that, then I think you will be okay staying here.
Very nice, super clean RV park, convenient to Winnipeg. Lise is very customer oriented and helped us with things to see and do in the area. Far enough from town to be quiet, yet close enough to be convenient to everything you need. Big rig friendly, we would definitely recommend Arrowhead RV park.
Our family did NOT enjoy our stay here!! The experience was substandard, the camp spaces were microscopic and covered in limestone, not grass, which brings me to my next point: there is a puny amount of green space and free area for kids to play. The postage stamp, embryonic sized camp spaces were lacking the most enjoyable part of camping; fire pits! Although, you could rent propane fire pits for an extra fee if you were willing. Along with the uncomfortable living situation, the owners were ignorant, controlling, and money hungry. Despite the flaws, the bathrooms and laundry area were satisfactory, resulting in the 1 star.
