Staff was friendly, that was the biggest pro. Absolute lack of stock in store, issues receiving product ordered through the website. I feel you are better off to go into store to see what they have instead of fighting with their website. It would be nice to support local businesses, but with no stock, this is really difficult. I feel like I did get 1 quality item from this store, but by no means could I outfit myself (or even begin to) from their stock (in-store or online). This is truly unfortunate.

My wife and I loved the intro to river kayaking course for the following reasons: 1. Accountability from instructor Greg, right from the beginning he met our concerns about whether we were registered for the right course or not. And with the logistics that were a challenge due to Covid. 2. Humor and skill from Simon and Greg 3. Finesse from Brandon. We learned a ton, from wet exit, wet exit in current to eddy turns to seal entry and class II rapids how to know where to go!!!! We are so excited now to continue our skills on our own and then come back for more. I was worried I wouldn’t be challenged or advanced. I was challenged and I have entered (humbly) a new world of kayaking. One of which I have wanted to do for over 3 decades!!! Btw amazing couples weekend... learning a new set of skills together and facing some fear- it’s a fantastic way to learn about each other and grow together!!
Everytime we go to chat with the folks about gear or trips, they have great insight that helps us pick exactly what we need.
Highly knowledgable staff, honest and genuinely interested first and foremost in getting you your best paddling experience. Go on a weekday if you can -- they're swamped on Saturdays and Sundays!
Excellent customer services! Knowledgeable staff helped us with getting and installing a cargo box along with the railing for the box. In the meantime, another staff played with my 5 year old son!! Thank you all for an awesome shopping experience! Definitely recommend this store!!
