Appliance Genie charged me 112 ahead to look at a washing machine. Then they gave me unreal quote of 660 to change a part that needed front panel to come out. To be fair units are tacked. Takes two guys 2 minutes to unstack. Parts cost 90. It was clear that this is a scam. I got another quote of 360 for same job from a competitor. I ended up going with LG direct service and cost me 208tax. What's funny, it came out Appliances Genie gave me the wrong diagnosis since parts they wanted to change were fine and LG changed another part that took LG guy a minute to identify. I asked for my money back but no one replied. Service manager won't return your call. What a scam! Update: called the number provided by owner in their reply to my review. They answered immediately. They asked for repair report showing cause from LG. I did send them the report. Report clearly shows that Appliance Genie's diagnosis was totally wrong. This was 2 weeks ago. Have not heard back from them. I can't reach them now since they are not picking up my calls. I think they flagged my phone number! Was not able to talk to the manager so far!
They were able to squeeze me in the very next day to repair my washer. Worker was great! He explained the problem, fixed it on the spot and quoted me a fair price. I would definitely use Appliance Genie again!
Very professional and knowledgeable company. Austin was the gentleman that came to fix our dishwasher, he was super friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable about our dishwasher and after analyzing the appliance knew what the issue was right away. He came back with the part and fixed it promptly, he stayed a bit longer to ensure everything was up and running. He left his work area neat and tidy and followed covid protocol. I would recommend appliance genie to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable appliance repair company.
