I have been taking lessons with Andrea for over 2 years. She is patient, encouraging and adapts her teaching style to how one learns. When I had trouble with certain aspects of playing (like putting hands and pedal together), she found creative ways to help me learn. She is also flexible with the intensity of the lesson depending on how tired I am after work. This is especially important for me and has helped me not give up on piano as an adult learner. Id been having particular trouble with sight reading and rhythmic skills and we revisited some old pieces I had trouble with a few months ago, and to my own surprise I was able to play them easily and smoothly. She is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend her!

Andrea is a wonderful and we're lucky to have a place in her studio. She's especially flexible and patient with our atypical nine year-old daughter, and has coached her to success on a few recital performances which are always very meaningful for us. Andrea is always so encouraging and always ready to offer something useful no matter what state of preparation we're in. She's also very well organized with scheduling, payment, and communications. Highly recommended!

Andrea is an amazing teacher. As an adult learner, Andrea is able to adjust lessons to meet my constantly changing needs (often depending on how my day is going). She makes every lesson stress-free, fun, and yet I always learn something. Andrea is able to teach in different ways – originally I just wanted to learn pieces, which went very well, then I decided to focus on the RCM grades, again going very well. Every week I see a little bit of progress – I remember when I finally could sight read without having to think of each note’s name, or when she taught me how to play along with the recording – and the rhythm was soo easy. On top of the great teaching, or original location is so beautiful – in a church – we are able to do our concerts (3x a year) in the church with an amazing grand piano. With Zoom teaching, she has made is very easy, she has a great setup at home. Overall, I will be taking lessons with Andrea for 2 years, and I continue to look forward to every lesson every week.

Andrea is an absolutely wonderful piano teacher! She taught me to read music, guided me through our lessons with patience and care, and recommended plenty of resources and material for me to explore on my own time. Highly recommend for all ages :)

Our daughter looks forward to her weekly piano lessons because Andrea not only creates a warm and welcoming learning environment, but also tailors her teaching approach to suit the individual needs of her students. As a very active and talkative child, our daughter had struggled to maintain focus in lessons with other teachers. Andrea integrates movement and lively conversation into her lessons, an effective strategy that has made our daughter excited about learning the piano.
