We have hired Brad in the past for landscaping work in our backyard, and were very pleased with both his knowledge and professionalism. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy customers. Therefore, without any hesitation, we had he and his crew build us a new cedar pergola. We weren't sure if they did this type of work, but yes indeed they do, and we were very pleased with the results. We have had many compliments on both the garden and the pergola. Brad and his team from Lay of the Land are such a pleasure to work with, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all your landscaping needs.

Brad and his team worked very hard building a dream backyard for us. Brad is genuine and professional and the Lay of the Lands team surpassed our expectations. Hardworking, efficient, polite and very nice to work with.The project was a huge undertaking but Brad did it with grace and style. We were astounded by the stellar reviews of the Ancaster based company, Lay of the Land. Of several landscaping contractors called, Shannon promptly responded and arranged a timely meeting with the company owner. Our first encounter with Brad was extremely positive. He was wonderfully attentive to detail and prescribed a plan that was appropriate for our backyard. Brad offered a package that was flexible in the event that we changed our mind on certain aspects. The Fall phase of the work was done beautifully and expeditiously. We await Phase 2 in the spring. We'd be amiss not to mention Brad's crew Johnny, Gavin and Haley. Such a great experience with Brad and his team at Lay of the Land. We needed some landscaping done (front and back yard) for our new home and lined up several landscapers for quotes. Brad came through with flying colours based on his responsiveness and trustworthiness, and it really wasn't close at the end of the day. It has been a pleasure to work with him throughout the process, and he delivered great landscaping quality to our property that we are very happy with. Brad and his Lay of the Land crew were dependable, reliable, and responsive. They showed up on time with a great attitude, were respectful of neighbouring properties, and left the site tidy every day.
