We had our pool installed in July, during covid 19 and we are more than pleased with Buds pools. We are a returning customer and we will absolutely continue to use Buds in the future. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish!! The owner saw our build through every step of the way and that was pretty amazing to see, especially because we live far away! The initial install team was incredible! They were friendly, professional, and absolutely wonderful! We cannot commend them enough for the hard work they did! The team that followed was just as amazing! And the team after that was also incredible!! We are so pleased with every thing Buds did, they went above and beyond!! Nick answered every question we had (and we had a lot!) in a timely fashion, all the while making us feel validated and we felt completely in the loop with everything that was happening! We can’t say enough about this company, their work ethic and the amazing backyard oasis they helped to create for us! Also, we had our safety cover installed with them effortlessly and it was also so well done!! Thank you again to EVERYONE that was involved! Two very happy swimmers!

5 years ago I was referred to Bud's Spa & Pool. From the get go they were amazing to deal with. During the past 5 years they have opened and closed my pool. Never any complaints. Very efficient and friendly staff. They answer any question I had. I never had a service issue. This past spring, after testing a couple of times why my heater would not start, my gas tech told me that the Heat Exchanger had a crack in it. Two reasons for this type of problem. Bad chemicals or bad closing so that water made its' way into the heat exchanger. I have every water test receipt for the past 5 years - showing my diligence in maintaining good balance, so that leaves an improper closing. I contacted Buds and they have denied all liability and since that communication they have gone silent. Not even willing to discuss my issue. For this I am posting this message. If they had come to me with a possible amicable solution, you would not be reading this message. So today my message is ; stay away for Bud's Spa & Pool. They are not worth the investment.
Staff are so helpful. Knowledgeable and patient as I explain what isn't working. An education. Very accommodating both in Dundas and Ancaster. Great facilities.
Unfortunately we feel you will only be important until your money is in the bank. In our case our heater failed under warranty and we have to wait 2-3 months for a new one while they install new pools every day I'm sure. In my experience brands that value customer experience will stop their assembly line to look after their current customers. In this case I'm sure they are still installing new pools and we will stare at a cold pool with our kids for 2-3 months. We paid good money to Buds for our pool and I would expect them to put their support to their current customers before installing a new heater elsewhere. I think they made a poor decision on how to support us and we would not recommend them due to this.
