COMPLETE LACK OF HONESTY AND COMMUNICATION I dropped my 93 year old father's hearing aids off for cleaning on a Tuesday, I was told there were three clients who were ahead of my father. Wednesday I was told they would be completed before Thursday end of day. I arrived on Thursday afternoon, after calling to say I was coming to pick them up, arriving about 10 min before closing only to discover that the doors were locked, and no one would answer to my knocking. I waited until closing because I could see vehicles on the property. Friday I called first thing and asked for an explanation and was told that the hearing aids could not be cleaned until the next Wednesday, eight days from when I dropped them off. I immediately picked up my father's hearing aids and took them elsewhere. The audiologist at that clinic had them cleaned, checked over, to be sure they were good working order, and in my hands in under ten minutes...I timed her. In my opinion, Amplifon displays completely unacceptable and unprofessional business practice.

Not too long ago, my right Hearing Aid, which is the main one in my cross set up, stopped working. I took them to Amplifon in Grande Prairie, Alberta to have them repaired. Upon closer inspection, my right Hearing Aid was unable to be repaired, so I was booked in for a Hearing Test by their friendly front end staff .It didn't take very long to get the appointment. During the appointment, Mr. Jason Peck was very helpful and understanding. He explained each step of the process to me and then took the time to recommend a new set of Phonak Hearing Aids to me, explaining all of the advantages and details of them, while making sure that I understood and that I knew my options. When the new set arrived, we were deep into the COVID-19 restrictions and all of their in-house appointments had been either cancelled or postponed. Jason, knowing how desperate I was to be able to hear again, took the time to set them up in advance of me picking them up and then called me and set up a time for me to meet him. There was a bitter, cold wind the day that I was scheduled to pick up my new Phonak Hearing Aids. Jason, both dedicated to his job and to me, his patient, took the time to stand outside of their building and explain to me exactly how my new Hearing Aid system worked. Upon trying my new Phonak Hearing Aids, they worked perfectly fine, and exactly as explained to me. I was and am thoroughly pleased and impressed with the service that I received from Amplifon and would highly recommend Amplifon in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to anyone that is experiencing any sort of hearing loss.

This place was awesome when Priyanka and Arniban were there, but since they have left, all of the excellent staff that they had have left as well, and it has been a train wreck ever since. I am going to try to get my file out of there.

Are you kidding me, answer the door with a mask on and then tell me I should have phoned! I am deaf and a lip reader! You people are so stupid & rude, I can not believe you are business! Please let this "local business" go under, they do not deserve your business!

I will give 5 stars for the receptionist, she was very nice and welcoming. The Audiologist was rude, plain and simple. I paid for the test last year, and it was found I had moderate hearing loss, but I couldnt afford the 5k they wanted for hearing aids. Now I just had a repeat test done...she didnt do half the tests that she did the last time, got mad at me because she said I need to push the button even if I dont hear anything. The point being I DIDNT HEAR ANYTHING, so why the heck would I push the button. ? She said you dont need hearing aids...already knowing I cant afford them. said goodbye and turned her back on me. I will never go back there !!

The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was my first time when I went there and the lady who did the test on me was amazing and made my experience relaxed and pleasant.
