Horrible store ownership! Went in to the store looking for a 24 inch by 48 inch plywood sheet. Found one in the store and asked to have it cut to make some shelves. I needed 3 shelves 11.5 inches by 24 inches I got home and the piece of wood was not even 24 inches wide. I brought it back to the store to return it as it was not the 24 inches it was labeled as. The owner would not let me return it as it was already cut. I explained that the cut was not the problem but the starting board was not the size they had stated it was and that I had paid for more wood then I got. They still would not let me return it. Definitely false advertising and poor ownership of the store. Everytime I go in there the staff are friendly but the owner functions well below his staff. Truly disappointed in this small business. Ended up having to go to a big box store.

I've had overall good experiences here. Most of the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a pretty good selection and prices are typically quite reasonable. I'm very happy with the quality of their paint in particular. Especially for a small town store they are quite good. If they don't have it they are always happy to order in it for you.

Most of the staff is friendly. T Although the owner has a chip on his shoulder. Always seems to give attitude. Generally, I receive good service from the staff. If needed, help is always there. I try to shop here for most things to support the local community. The lumber yard could use some better care. I received some lumber from Wigles HH and some of the wood I received was very warped...was taken from a pile that was left out in the snow. The employee that was digging it out was separating them with a claw hammer. When I got home and unloaded the lumber several pieces were fairly damaged, and warped. For having such a large building to store lumber...im not sure why they kept the lumber outside. Overall, its a good little store. But I wont be returning for any lumber unless I can pick it myself. A little more care and diligence would make this review a little higher.

The Honest man

Never had a bad experience. You can complain about prices all you want thats a corporate thing. For me everytime I am in this store I am greeted and my question is answered within 5 minutes. I am always in and out in less than 10. Very knowledgeable staff.
