Meats were fresh and of good quality. Prices are reasonable. Staff are helpful and the store is clean. Can't ask for much more.

Anyone who cannot give Romano's a 5 Star review should not shop there as you do not appreciate quality food and excellent service. I appreciate the Romano teams as they are truly craftspeople of a dying art in terms of fresh food preparation. I shop there every chance I get and have done so for well over 20 years. Kudo to Romanos.

My dad owns the Bondy House Bed & Breakfast in Amherstburg, ON. Me and my wife with 2 kids try to go visit 4 times a year and make it a weekend getaway. Everytime we're there I always make a point to put a purchase order at Romano's. Claudio is absolutely phenomenal, as is his staff. The last time I was down visiting (July long weekend) there was a mess up on my order. I called the next day and spoke to Claudio and he informed me that the next time I came down to visit he would honor the error (at no cost to me that cost him 65). Needless to say, when I came back down 4mths later (late Nov) he was good to his word and even threw in a beautiful beef tenderloin stuffed with asparagus, provolone cheese and ground pork sausage. During times like this that it's even more critical to support 'Mom and Pop' shops. You wouldn't get service like this at a major chain. If you've taken the time to read this and ever go there, make sure to order New York strip steaks. Ask for the \Merv cut and seasoned\. You will not be disappointed and no, it won't break the bank getting it.
