Authentic Mexican done right. Try the Carnitas, they are perfect. Friendly atmosphere, had a nice chat with the owner and staff. Even the other diners gave us suggestions on what to order as soon as we walked in. Can't wait to go back. Love that this place serves real Mexican food, not Tex Mex.

I was very excited to give this very well reviewed place a try as I love Mexican food. Unfortunately, the issues started as soon as I entered the restaurant. Neither the customers nor the staff were wearing masks. The chef didn't bother to wash his hands after answering the phone and proceeded to cook all the food and scoop all the tortilla chips into the bag with his unclean hands. Not only that, upon ending the phone call, the chef started to make fun of the person on that just called with the other customers for asking questions about the menu. In terms of the food, the tortilla chips were decent. The soft tortillas weren't good at all, very floury and were partially dissolved (not really sure how to describe it). The wild boar was dry and lacked flavor. I would say the only other decent part of the order was the piece of pork belly.
This restaurant is a Gem in Alliston, Chef Rob dishes out Mexican food with the quality and flavors that's out if this world. He hasn't diluted the flavors and stands by his food which is authentic in every level. I love the menu and the portion size. He has priced the items very reasonably. The stockpile of beer he has is something to die for. Chef Rob is super cool, down to earth and friendly. In my short visit I can definitely say we have bonded as friends. The restaurant has an ambience that's is inviting and comfy. I strongly recommend everyone to pay a visit when you're in or passing through Alliston and try the food. As for myself and my family we are now his permanent guests.
Hands down the best taco place I have ever gone to. Amazing flavours. Fresh. Unique. Rob the owner is a great person. The flavour of the guac and pico brings me right back to my vacations in Mexico. Worth the visit every time
