Algonquin Outfitters provided an expert experience overall on our 1/2-day guided canoe tour on Lake Opeongo/Costello Creek. Angela, our Guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. She helped point out a lot of wildlife for us and kept us entertained. Although, the two of us are novice canoe enthusiasts in our 50's, being out on the water was wonderful. We couldn't have had better weather too! Thanks to Algonquin Outfitters for helping to make such a fabulous memory!

A scenic place. Make sure to be well equipped if going for canoeing and camping. Also, I didn't see any designated official for rescue operations, so you need to be responsible for your own safety, therefore act accordingly.

We had a wonderful trip! The staff at Algonquin Outfitters is always dependable, friendly, efficient, and amazing! We always book through their company! Also, Colin, our water taxi driver, was amazing! He was friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable, and even pointed out the sites along the way! He was right on time, and very interesting to talk to during our trip! As always, our trip to Algonquin park was an amazing adventure because of Algonquin Outfitters! Thanks again for a great and fabulous vacation!

We had a great experience with Algonquin Outfitters-Lake Opeongo. We took our 3 children on a guided tour of Hailstorm Creek. Our guide, Angela was the best- the kids loved her! We loved her! She was very friendly and knowledgeable.She gave us a lot of information about the plants and wildlife. She knew her way around the area very well. I'm so glad we had her with us! The scenery is beautiful but Angela really made the experience so much more enjoyable! Our water taxi driver, Sam was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It made us feel secure to know we were in good hands with Angela and Sam. I would definitely recommend this trip with Alqonquin Outfitters-Lake Opeongo!
