Great experience launching from the north access point. Will come again. Good experience in the process of renting canoes and was well accommodated for covid. Really enjoyed the contactless setup, maybe this should stay? Although I do enjoy chatting on check-in! I give 3 stars because the quality of the canoes were hardly acceptable. Very brittle and tired. I've been renting canoes for over 12yrs now and these canoes made me nervous. Seats could hardly hold the average 200lb adult. Paddles could use a fresh shellac. One yoke felt weak and about to break. Our lives depend on the quality of these canoes, it's our way out, if you're running a business keep them top notch. Take my experienced word and replace them all before someone gets hurt or stranded. We pay good money for this service I want to see passion and pride in what you deliver.
Friendly staff, easy no contact booking and pick-up of canoes. Beautiful location. We had a wonderful canoe camping trip on Cedar lake, Algonquin Park.
This store have very friendly staff and I appreciate their help. Campsite has very nice view and will definitely come again :) Note: the campsite has no phone signal and needs a 30-40 mins drive of bumpy gravel road to get there. Might be too hardcore for novice campers.

First time through Cedar Lake with the help of Algonquin Outfitters' Kipawa canoe! They managed to help us out even though it was last minute and the canoe was waiting for us first thing the next morning. Great as always, and looking forward to next season!
What an amazing little hamlet and campground - a real gem of a find! And what wonderful service at AO; very organized, excellent equipment, easy to access, fantastic service and assistance, and some of the best canoeing around. Check out the falls and rapids at the Petawawa River portage, as the river flows into Cedar Lake directly across from the campground!
