I used to love shopping at this Dollarama before they changed the set-up to match other locations. And when I moved to Hawkesbury which has 2 stores; I would still come to this location. It felt like \home\ to shop here. Now it's the same as all the other Dollarama locations, no longer a pleasant shopping experience. Even most of the old familiar faces are gone. I really try to avoid going to Dollarama anywhere now; I hate the new store set-up, the crowded aisles, and the fact that the shelves are re-stocked when the store is open to customers. Barely 2 people with baskets can pass in an aisle now, add \parked\ dollies full of boxes sitting in the aisles while the staff is on break or lunch; AND the \one-way\ direction; the whole experience is very uncomfortable - and claustrophobic - for me. I even tried going during the off peak hours; no difference. Another issue I've noticed is that many staff at the different store locations I visit are really not helpful or pleasant to deal with.
I enjoyed that they have items that aren't in stores near me. But the line for the cash was long and it took a long time for the second cash to open up. The cashier was friendly. And he did call for help quickly. It took 2 calls before the help arrived.
Like most Dollarama stores but a bit larger, excellent selection and wwll maintained store with all the safety procedures in place to keep you safe.
