Do great work very friendly staff
like
Good place to pick up at, nice big yard.
I thought that Canadians were supposed to have a reputation of being likable and friendly. My business visits up north generally allow me to meet great people and business associates, but the staff at this facility are not friendly. I am not impressed with my interactions with this company, their product, or services.
A soul destroying place to work. Quality trade practices are overlooked and undervalued in favor of output. Morale among employees is extremely low. It is more than clear that neither employees or clients are valued, only the monetary gains they can make to the company. If you are a tradesperson who takes pride in a job well done this is not the place for you. If you are a female tradesperson, be sure that you have journeyperson status to protect you from gender discrimination. If you are a female tradesperson and have the misfortune to already be an employee, watch out for Dave Hawryluk (manufacturing manager). Keep note of your activity on the job, your interactions with him, and have some sort of documentation at hand should you mysteriously come up on his short list to be let go. I would ordinarily say appeal to the company higher ups, but working here is a miserable experience. File a complaint with human rights, and labour instead. Word to the wise.
