I don't write reviews very often but the experience that I had with this business and employees has made myself obligated. These guys are amazing and you won't find any other place that does this quality work, service and price. I had an electric motor that was virtually impossible to find a new clutch part for and the folks at Alberta Rewind went above and beyond to help me out. I will be back again to give them my business.

Needed a pump for my boiler system and this place had exactly what I needed and at a way cheaper price than Amre supply. Great help from the staff who were very knowledgeable. I recommend you stop here first in you need heating system water pumps.
I took in an old school Apache DC welder (1980's) simply powered with an 8 HP Briggs & Stratton engine which in turn spins up a GM Delco alternator wired to a small circuit board consisting of 12 diodes and what it needs to produce 1500 amp 120 v plugin and the 135 amp DC Welder. I explained to them the problem that there was no power coming from the alternator. This happened at the beginning of September 2017. They said they'll let me know within a couple weeks what could be wrong with it. Well, 3 1/2 months later, numerous calls and polite promises to get to it, they finally told me that i needed to start by replacing the 12 diodes. What ???? I specifically told Steve there was no power coming from the alternator and they're now telling me i need to start by replacing the diodes for the welder function. Frustrated, I picked it up, paid 110 and brought it home. I called up my electrician buddy \again\ (which is really not schooled much in DC and insisted he needed a wiring schematic for the machine) and asked him if there was any more he could do for me with the machine. Basically he said not really. He then calls me up the next day and explained to me that i should try and energize the field in the alternator. Well, guess what, yup, connected 12v to the alternator while running and bam, my old school welder/generator is running strong to this day. You would think Alberta Rewind (being experts in this field) would have been able to figure this out in a few minutes.
Dealt with them for years, fair pricing, fast service, and they hold stock for me.
family run company with good old fashioned values . Great place for pump and motor repair.
