Clean store with decent selection of basics and essentials. I also appreciate that they're one of the few large grocery chains to exlusively use paper bags. The other major benefit is that it always seems to be less crowded than other major grocery stores in the area.

sometimes self check acts weird but the woman at self check on weekends is incredibly helpful! March 14 2020 just came back from sobeys Ajax.. no line-up, no crazy people going through some Armageddon, no empty shelves nothing like that however toilet paper shelves were empty else everything was fully stocked Nov 8 2020 Went there yesterday to get some produce for the week. One thing I must share that the reason I buy my grocery from sobeys is its best quality produce. I have been buying my fruits and veggies for over 2 years now and not a single time I bought it and they went bad next day or 2 which is unlike other grocery stores which you cant keep it long in the freezer. Very good quality produce and its whole wheat bread is great too and one can get real fresh right from the oven in the morning.

Wide array of grocery items although of course there is room for adding more. For example, I was looking for a Swiffer sweeper which they apparently do not have. Reasonably priced. Staff is very helpful. And I love the fact that the aisles are wide and you do not feel crammed in-between shelves. Overall a relaxing grocery shopping experience.

Excellent service, my family loves it when they have snow crabs on sale. 20 for 3 giants legs. Such a steal
