Tucked away in a south Ajax plaza is this gem. Has almost all hardware needs for anyone doing work around the house. Staff are very helpful, with manager being always available for some tough questions we had on different occasions. He is very knowledgeable about everything. Someone must have complained, staff are being very (bit too much maybe) careful with the social distancing thing.

This is one of the few real hardware stores left with knowledgeable people who can help you get what you need rather than a big package of what they have. You can get a screen, rather than the whole door. You can get the hardware you need rather than a package of 25 for each type. You can get lengths of hose & wire, rather than packages. You can find or order that special item that you can't find elsewhere. They don't have minimum sale prices, so you don't have to spend a minimum 10 on any item and you don't have to end up with whole bunch of extra parts when you do a project. The owner is in there somewhere, so there's someone who has a real stake in the place. Anyone who can fix things will need some place like this sometime, so we should all throw a few shopping dollars at this store. It will be missed if we let it sink.

I waited outside because of limitations understandably. Staff comes out to find out what you need then goes in and finds it, takes it to the cashier and then lets me in to pay. Seamless. Friendly staff and excellent service.
