Great place in Ajax I go almost weekly. In speaking with the owner, I can really see the care he takes in the quality of food. He orders the meat daily and doesn't freeze the patties. He has also experimented with fresh cut fries. Small business owners really invested in providing the best food are a great blessing. Would highly recommend!! Chicken and fries, Burzooka, and Zinger with fries or poutine I would highly recommend. Hand slaughtered Halal.
I came here just based on everyone’s review.... but unfortunately my experience wasn’t all that great... Place was clean. Customer service was good. Now to the food - I ordered a shriek burger combo with poutine and one chicken tikka roll. Bill came up to approximately 24.00 The chicken tikka roll was dry and wayyy too salty. Just the driest roll ever. No sauces. No chutney. No mayo. Just a dry chicken wrap. Definitely not worth the buy. The size also smaller than expected. The shriek burger - size smaller than expected for a 10.00 burger. They forgot to add the tomatoes, the green pepper, and the roasted hot peppers. I did not request for these to be removed from the burger. The lettuce and onions in the burger were not fresh. They were soggy and old - so I ended up picking those out....I can say the actual beef patty and the chicken strip in the burger are flavourful. Since that was all that was left and I was starving. Poutine was decent amount. Made fresh. Tasted okay. A little in the salty end but eh it’s poutine sometimes gravy is like that ... Overall - overpriced and under delivered.
