Scott Werenka of WPI Renovations is an excellent contractor. The quality of his work was top notch. He also proved to be a very honest guy. During the middle of the project, my family hit a tough spot that required a scale-down in the scope of work. I wasn't sure if it would be accommodated, but I spoke with Scott and was able to have some of the planned materials swapped out for less expensive ones, which saved a couple thousand dollars. He could have easily said the work was too far along and changes in scope of work could not be done. He also allowed a slight delay in payment (about a week). On moving day, he helped my wife keep the movers in check (FYI, never hire 2 Burley Men). He was only scheduled to do a final walk-through of the reno project, but hung around an additional 4 hours when it became apparent the moving company was trying to cut corners on finishing the move, and helped to make sure they finished the job properly. Not only is Scott a good contractor, he demonstrated that he will go the extra mile to help out his clients if they hit a rough patch. I'm very impressed, and I would highly recommend.
