Super disappointed. Was told my partner could come in with me as it was a pregnancy ultrasound only to be told he couldn’t once we were there. I wasn’t allowed to FaceTime him during the appointment or even call him on speaker phone for support after there being no heart beat detected. This is my first pregnancy and I never imagined having to do it alone. This is just as much his baby as mine and you are basically robbing him of some of the most important moments of his life - seeing his baby for the first time. Why is it that I can pay for a private ultrasound and my partner can join me but he can’t join me here. Super disappointed to say the least, I was told EFW specializes in pregnancy ultrasounds and all I was left with was anxiety, stress and unanswered questions after my last visit. Will be looking into a clinic that actually cares for its patients next time.

Went for an ultrasound today and I was disappointed enough to write a review. Today was my wife's 20 Week Ultrasound. I was fully aware I'd probably not be permitted to enter the clinic due to the new Covid-19 Restrictions. But nevertheless I thought I'd try. Everyone there was super polite about it. No problem. I then asked if my wife could FaceTime me and that was also a no... no cameras. Fully understand it. Finally we asked for Speakerphone so I could be there to support my wife. This has been a tough and eventful pregnancy and without getting into it on the internet, it hasn't been easy. We told them these events point blank... and they brushed it off and still said no. Can I ask why speakerphone isn't allowed in these times? This was a complete lack of compassion and the more people I tell about this, the more people think I should write it down and make sure its known. I don't know if it's a policy issue or a people issue... but we are very disappointed with EFW Airdrie... maybe EFW as a whole. They have big signs everywhere that say thank you for choosing us for your ultrasound... perhaps there's other choices to be made for our next appointment... I highly suggest they fix this policy... because I am part of the baby's life too... and my wife needed me today. Even on speakerphone... and apparently that's not allowed. Find some compassion in covid-19 times please.

So rude, the ladys name was Sarah, I was trying to book a ultrasound for my pregnancy and she was very rude and condescending. Its supposed to be a good experience but she put a damper on it. If you're trying to have a joyful experience I recommend looking elsewhere.

The head male doctor here is unempathetic and is just all business. First time I was referred here, I had pneumonia (unfortunately during covid) but I had my negative test back and needed an xray for my chest - he refused to see me. And now I went in for a miscarriage and he told me there was no evidence that I was ever pregnant. Completely belittled my miscarrage and made me feel like I was crazy.. And he just said go talk to my doctor and didn't answer any of my questions. I will never go here again. (the tech that did my appointment was such a sweetheart and I'm glad she was there to calm me down after I saw the doctor - thankyou)

Had an appointment for ultrasound on 10th march they called me on time didn’t had to wait at all ,sonographer who did my ultrasound was so nice ,knowledgeable and had so much patience !

I went for an ultrasound on my abdomen and the sonographer was super thorough and discovered my condition. The wait time was ridiculous though! I had an emergency appointment and had to wait an hour before I was seen.
