Reception is very nice! But I never will be back to this place...because of the doctor. Been waiting for that appointment couple weeks to do myself and 4 months old baby for check up.. so doctor spend 5 minutes for 2 of us....didn’t even wait and measure my baby to tell how she growing.. definitely not recommend this place

I've been here 4 times. The first was fantastic and I couldn't have had better service. The second, I waited 1 hour past my appointment time. The third, they gave me a prescription under the wrong patient file with a bunch of confidential patient info on it, and when I brought it up, a man came, said "can I see that", and snatched it out of my hand and walked away with no eye contact, no apology, no accountability. The fourth, they told me to watch out for a symptom of an extremely concerning disorder that runs in my family (they brought up the family history, I was not there for that). The symptom was pretty generic and I may have it, so I asked for clarification on what they meant. They got annoyed I was taking too much time and told me to rebook if I wanted to discuss, and sent me home extremely worried about whether I have this disorder.

No regard for client's time. I booked an appointment in advance and had to wait over 35 minutes before let into a room, and then another 10 before doctor came in. I thought, well things happen (something must of?), but I thought I'd inquire which days of the week, if any, might be better to book appointments on in the future. That is, are there days that the clinic isn't a walk-in? Are there days with more than one doctor? I couldn't even get a question out before I was met with an explanation that the doctors need breaks (I agree!), the doctors work a lot (I assume), they can't ignore walk-ins (wasn't suggesting that). Essentially, they explained their clients should expect to wait. THEN when my teenage daughter went in for her appointment, at a later date (and again had to wait) the doctor expressed her annoyance with me to my daughter!! Sigh... Very Unprofessional.

We moved to Airdrie recently in December and by May we still did not have a family doctor, so upon investigation we decided to give Coopers Medical Clinic a chance and see if they were accepting new patients. WOW! Right away the receptionist said we could have a meet and greet with our new doctor if we wished (and we did). From my experiences, the front staff everyone else in between are incredibly kind and welcoming. Each time I have called, I have been able to be booked in quickly and there has never been an issue. Dr. Efobi is those types of doctors who takes action right away. If you say you have an issue, she will tell you her next steps. She documents everything on the computer as you speak. I understand some people find this annoying but as a nursing student, I understand the importance of documenting everything as is. Anyway, I really like this clinic and they provide quick service and are always welcoming. It is always clean, and it is in a good location I recommend :)

NEVER IN MY LIFETIME I have ever felt such humiliation and discrimination before my visit with "Dr"Assumpta Efobi today. I could hardly walk for days, so naturally, I went in for hip pain and I was given a 10 minute, heartless lecture on drug dependency and I should be on marijuana??? I was diagnosed with "withdraw from prior medicine" that she had prescribed to me. This was extremely embarrassing and uncalled for when a person is simply looking for help. No compassion was given. I had to beg for an x-ray and ultrasound. She hastily threw the requisition at me and ended my visit with her. I am heartbroken and will never show my face in Coopers Medical clinic ever again. I fear for this same treatment for my friends and family. Obviously as a direct result, I am taking my family's health and wellbeing to somewhere a little more professional and 100% more compassionate for the sick and injured. Some people were born to be doctors, I feel "dr" Assumpta Efobi was forced into it. Not everyone that comes in the door is a drug addict lady!!! Thank you for nothing.

My mother was a patient of Dr.Efobi, she passed away September 1st 2020 from cancer that was undiagnosed after she had been to this doctor dozens of times for health concerns that were not addressed. I was on a speaker call when my mother called her to discuss pain medication Dr Efobi’s non compassionate reply...” you will start on at Tylenol 3’s and progress from there. I was primary care for mom when she was dying and several times Dr Efobi drug her heels on completing prescriptions for me to pick up at the pharmacy and even made mistakes on the prescriptions more than once. Unfortunately I lost my mother under this distracted doctors care. I will make recommendation to the Alberta college of physicians to have her license pulled, I found out this is not the first time one of her patients has died from undiagnosed cancer. My advice stay away from this clinic, sure wish my mom had. Wish I didn’t have to click on a star to post.

A walk in clinic that does not take walk in appointments because of COVID. I was told they were “all booked up” for the day but my vehicle was the only car in the parking lot...
